Overcoming Adversity and the Power of Positive Role Models Robert Moody

3/27/2017

Area resident and former NFL quarterback Robert Moody shares his experience growing up in rough neighborhoods while being exposed to tough choices and surrounded by negativity and danger.

Temptations continued through college and professional football, while injuries and the mental and physical pressures of performing as a top-level athlete impacted him daily.

Because of positive role models and good decisions in his life, Moody came out on the other side as a successful athlete and positive role model to his children and to the children of Wood County.

Moody now serves at the Wood County Educational Service Center as a resource coordinator, helping youth deal with emotional and life issues.

Parental guidance is ENCOURAGED.
